Where To Travel In Asia Once The Borders Reopen

The tourism industry has been really hurt by the pandemic. Flights have been canceled to help prevent the spread of the virus. It will only be a matter of time before they open though as that won’t be good news for the flight attendants, pilots, tour guides, and other people who work in the industry. There are a lot of nice countries to go to Asia once everything settles down. Here is where to travel in Asia once the borders reopen:

Philippines

The Philippines is known for its awesome beaches. The country has more than seven thousand islands and some are pretty impressive. Start the trip at Cebu and swim with the whale sharks at Oslob or relax at Kawasan Falls. After that, head over to Bohol to check out the Chocolate Hills. Most tourists go to El Nido and join a boat tour to check out Small Lagoon, Secret Beach, and Big Lagoon. Siargao is also a great place to go-to for surfers as it has big waves. There are other tourist spots to go there like Naked Island and Sugba Lagoon. For those who like party beaches, there is Boracay. There are loads of things to do there too like cliff diving at Ariel’s Point and riding a banana boat at the main beach.

Thailand

Thailand is full of sights to see. Why not start if off by bathing with elephants at Chiang Mai? After that, do the full moon party at Koh Phangan. If boat tours are your thing, you should check out Phi Phi Island at Koh Phangan. Krabi is the place where you can book a tour to James Bond island even though that is a bit far. Monkeys are actually a bit common there so don’t be alarmed by their presence. Bangkok is a nice place to do some souvenir shopping as you can haggle with the vendors. There is Khao Sok National Park there too for those who like to swim and a bunch of temples for the curious ones. For those who like free diving, there is Koh Tao. You won’t believe what you will see underneath the ocean.

Singapore

Singapore is a bit expensive but it is pretty much worth it. Book a stay at Marina Bay Sands so you can enjoy the great view of downtown Singapore while taking a swim. After that, check out the numerous food courts scattered around town as there are a ton of nice options. Sentosa is where most tourists go as that is where Universal Studios is located. Yes, it is the theme park where you can enjoy thrilling rides and take pictures with cartoon characters.

There is no doubt you should get your passport ready as there are so many places to visit in Asia. Additionally, you must save a lot of money as these things are going to cost a lot of money. It is going to be worth it though as you will surely enjoy every single moment of it.
